It will be... affordable! Less than other kits on the market is all I can say

How difficult was it getting that transmission in there?

Actually very straightforward, you just have to shave the tunnel a little to make it fit

I have some updates I really want to post but I'm supposed to wait

G'damn, you went straight for the gold! Your car is one mean muhfuka! I thought it was going to be NA. The fact that it's V8 + turbo is just ridiculously awesome. I'd love to see your beast on a scale and the weight distribution. Cheers!

What LS motor did you wind up with? Are you going to brace the crap out of the chassis?

This is so cool. Do you have any kind of specific power goal?

I would say to give 3-4 months for everything to be available publicly. But that's just an estimate based on other cars I've overseen CX's development on

I'm running a cammed iron block 5.3 with LS2 heads, pump, etc. Also running a ProProducts intake manifold, throttle body, etc. My motor is not the one pictured

The chassis will be caged and I will be adding some bracing in the front to hold things together.

No real power goals in mind, we will probably run it detuned to around 600whp. Anymore than that would be overkill for my needs.

Detuned to 600whp is more than you "need"? Haha what do you "need" that much power for lol?

No hate, just funny sentence. Awesome build, cant wait to see some vids of it going !

Just read thru the whole post... All 10 pages... Very Nice build you have going. Looking forward to the updates.
Was considering the CXracing kit for my Firestorm FRS as well. Have used them in the past for several cars (Del Sol, RX-7, BMW 328Is, Miata, 240sx etc.) and never had any problems with their turbos or manifolds or Radiators or anything. Quality stuff at affordable prices! Seems that in all of the local forums here in Arkansas that i get flamed for using their products... Until we have a meet and someone takes a ride in one my vehicles... Suddenly no more flaming in the forums... Huh I wonder why?
Keep up the great work on your car... Mine will be done some day soon I hope. I Need to source a used CX racing turbo kit for the FR-S with the way my budget has been going here lately Ha Ha... I spent too much on the Carbon Fiber Hood, Roof, and Trunk... Had to fix hail damage and found it cheaper to replace everything than it was to fix it.

Haha! Well I suppose I don't need it, but I sure don't mind having it!
