Uh oh, you didn't go off your meds again did you? Seriously, what are the meds for?

So my lucky day streak continues. I picked Ian up from day care and took him to the clinic to get a prescription for pink eye. The best parking spot in the lot was open and it was a pull through. There was noone ahead of me in line at the clinic. The doctor ageed with my diagnosis. And when I was putting Ian back into the car someone offered to take the cart that I had used instead of carrying him. This day is just full of win.

Have you ever stared at yourself in the mirror... with sheer utter disgust and disappointment? And tell yourself that anything you do will not work? That absolutely nothing ever good comes from you? To question your past, present, and future?

Some read the comic and bought an AE86, and think he is Takumi trying to drift on the mountain road, that is probably the reason why this accident happened.

From the look of the cockpit, the driver is probably ok. (RHD)

PS: the firefighters are from Utsunomiya, Toichigi Prefecture, I think.

@Dimman how does regrinding a camshaft work? More specifically, how do you adjust the valve lifters to compensate for the reduced cam "radius"? Is it usually easy? Crower cams for my 1ZZ are 400 bucks...I was kinda hoping I could just get the intake cam reground lol. If it's like 200 bucks I would do it, since a higher duration intake cam would increase fuel economy and top end power.

Different shims, or the hydraulic adjusters usually take care of it, depending on the motor.

400 for Crower isn't bad.

I know, but for 400 I could buy some rear tires and a new 5th gear gearset...
On top of that, I don't want the fatter exhaust cams that you're forced to buy. Just the intake.

How much do you reckon it would cost to have just the intake cams reground?

I thought I saw they offer exhaust cams separate for the 1ZZ, couldn't hurt to ask for just an intake.

Or ask around for a regrind quote.

I really want the Nur Spec Wing. I don't care what anybody says.

I'm a 90s boy and I love it.

Hmmm I noticed Crower's own website has the option of buying just an exhaust cam, but not just an intake cam. 255 dollars for an exhaust cam. Sent an inquiry to Delta, I'll see what they say. I should probably ask one of the MR2 specialist shops around the area about this too.
