After several setbacks I finally got my kit installed and running. Took a cumulative 16 hours or so with a partner over the course of a couple of days. Went with a DT F&G...idles like a champ and the low speed drivability is superb. Having problems in partial throttle...the BOV is opening up and venting when I'm increasing throttle anywhere in 4th gear or higher once I'm past 4K or so. Everything pretty much goes to hell at that point. I haven't gone above 50% throttle or so but it pulls in 1st and 2nd just fine. Pretty sure I need to run a higher tension spring in the BOV...came preassembled with an 8 PSI and no others included. Looking forward to getting that worked out and the tune dialed in. The induction noise is absolutely nasty and the quality of the kit is impressive. I have some wiring from the cam angle sensor that is touching the downpipe that I need to get a loom around...and I forgot to put the foam back on the crash beam. Excited to see what the future holds!!!

Idle dip and stalling

Hi guys, I'm having idle dip problems when I push the clutch in coming to a stop. Sometimes it stalls and most of the time it recovers from the dip below 500rpms. I have the bov on the MAF pipe. I've already switched to the brown 12psi spring to keep the Bov shut at idle. I'm not sure if adding a 1/8" shim with the 12psi helps, just like what @Shit Luck did (post #566, page 42), we might have the same problem. The dip is more apparent when AC is On and fans kick in.

@JDLAutoDesign offered to send @Shit Luck an updated MAF pipe without the Bov, and a Bov flange to be moved to the intercooler. Did this solve the issue at all?

I'm running Delicious Tuning flash & go tune. Any input will be appreciated, thanks!

This also happened to me, turned out to be a damaged 'O' ring on the BOV flange

I had the same problem. Mine was the tune. The latency on the fuel injectors for DW was swapped right at the patch of injectors i bought apparently. The tuner bumped it up and that worked pretty well. The idle still osolates a bit but i expected it to be a little rough.

I hope i explained that the right way

Just decided to share this with you guys, I finally got my 2nd delicious tune done yesterday. Since then we have fully built motor, and decided to up the boost and see what this Garrett GTX2867R can do. Sadly we couldnt reach the 400's since the OS Giken TR2C Twin Plate Clutch started to slip from 6000-7800 RPM on the dyno, I had really high hopes that this OS Giken TPC was going to never have slipping problems. Since it's rated to hold in the upwards of 750WHP, and sadly only reached half of that figure. Once I get the clutch situation sorted, I will probably upgrade to a Garrett GTX3076R or GTX35R.

I attached the dyno of what the car did even though it was slipping really bad in the high RPM's.

Kit: JDL UEL single scroll Garrett GTX2867R @16psi e72
Tune: Delicious Tuning
Engine/Exhaust:Outfront Motorsports Fully Built Closed Deck, JDL Full 3" exhaust, Tomei Type 80
Fuel mods: DW700CC, DW65C, DT Flex Fuel Kit
Dyno whp/wtq: 366WHP/347TQ

JDL sent me an updated/non-BOV pipe and I still had the idle problem. It came out to be the tune.
