Yeah...but I need to get filament purchased so that I'm not using school materials for outside work. My own projects I use to demo what can be done.

Nice Work!
As a fellow engineer, I REALLY wish I had access to a 3D printer. My one friend works for a 3D printing company that can print medical grade titanium....jealous. I've asked him to print some stuff up for me and its FAR from cheap |

The plastic printer is not that expensive to run; 2.6 pounds of filament is between $25 and $35. I have a makerbot and a cube. The makerbot is a far better printer; but it is $2000. The middle school might be getting a DaVinci printer, which is only $500...but I'll have to use it before I know if it is worth it.

what do you do if no service? I just went on a trip this week and couldn't get google maps working on a significant portion of the trip. Good thing I knew the way. Maybe because it was a lower tier carrier (t mobile) but I imagine it would suck losing service when you need to get somewhere you don't know where you are going.

I wish they just sold a replacement plastic dash piece for the smaller width radios. Surprised nobody has made one yet.

Hello. Thank so much for the dash trim files. I modified them to fit with my car and radio, but the inner perimeter of my radio was exactly the same and they help me so much.
If anyone want it the files are here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3856257 |
