WedsSport TC105N Review and Weight Video

Hey Everyone,

I was replying to all the video threads I posted in the wheel section and realized I haven't shared the TC105n video for you guys. This is definitely a fan favorite on our platform and suits our car very well.

One of the best weight/buck wheels I think I've weighed off ever.

My favorite of the non forged wheels. I have owned two sets now.

2 sets! I'm jealous. I think for a track wheel they are very nice. I like the look vs the RPF1 by quite a bit and they are also lighter. They are definitely one of my favorite non-forged wheel along with quite a few Advans.

I put my limited edition Dark Blue Metallic set on my S2000 this weekend. 16.6 pounds for a 17x9.

Shit. Your making me regret getting the rota knockoffs posting that weight. But then again...my car has been off road 3 times this year and I don't know if 4 pounds is worth over 1,000 dollars.

It might be. If you're going off road too, a WedsSport is going to be a lot more resistant to breaking and damage.

I'd rather my cheap wheels break than something else.

If you're driving your car in an off road condition, a broken wheel could result in a lot more further damage when the rim unexpectedly breaks. If I was driving my car in conditions, or off road similar to a rally I'd definitely get the strongest wheels I could buy. I wouldn't want that to be my single point of failure.

Only two complaints: (1) They're a bit pricey for flow-form cast wheels, (2) Wish there were center caps that didn't interfere with the hubcentric rings.

I'm not using center caps which worries me when it rains (and on wet skidpad).

I agree, I wish they were priced closer to the Enkei RPF1. I still need to buy another set of the expensive center caps for mine, but I am fine with running the caps on the street and hubcentric rings on the track.

I've actually been looking into cheap 65mm ebay caps. I don't know if these would work, but I bet you could rig them to fit.

I had the same complaint, but decided it was ultimately worth the price in the end, and I got some anodized aluminum centercaps fabricated that serve as cap and centering ring combined. It was sold in a thread on here somewhere but only about 10 sets were made at around $130. I don't think another batch was ever done.

The cap + centering cap solution sounds perfect! Too bad about it being a limited production. Want to sell your's?

What it cost to get you to make another set or some one offs?
