Install is fairly simple. To install I only removed the cover on the passenger side C pillar to route the wire to the trunk, there is a hole just big enough to get the connector thru to the trunk without taking everything apart.
I removed the top half of the third brake light since the bottom half comes out with the rear deck. The only reason I haven't removed the rear deck to totally get rid of the housing is time/help to do it without bending it.
As far as the holes, the intec light comes with pieces to cover the holes once you remove the stock light.

It's a little pricey, but once I saw pictures of it on the car and deleting the stock light I really wanted it lol. I was trying to decide between this one or the one for sale in the groupbuy on here, but that one is $180-$220. Plus I like the look of this LED strip with the individual LED's compared to the groupbuy on here with a solid red LED bar.

Let me know if you want pics of how I routed the wire and I can take some and post it!

If you go the INTEC route, I would recommend getting some black double sided tape and putting some on each side edge as well as the front edge. I should have taken pictures but I forgot. When I initially installed the light the front edge that sits by the window wasn't completely flush so I took the light down and put the tape all the way around.

If you're interested I could send you a link to the tape I used, I just have to find it again lol. It's supposed to be strong enough to withstand constant heat from window but not leave residue or ruin tint.

Just installed an Openflash Header to complete my exhaust. I've been in love with the Subaru rumble since I was young and finally I've got it. Current setup is 2.5 Perrin resonated with Perrin Catted Front Pipe and Perrin Overpipe. The sound is fantastic. There is no rasp, there is no drone. You barely notice it unless you put the engine under load. I was preparing to have to settle for some rasp from all the samples I've heard, but there is none. It's a solid deep rumble. Could not be happier! Now I'm letting the car learn the new OFT tune that I loaded up.

Tsudo CBE out. Borla in.

Stock fluid from transmission and differential out. Motul 300 in. Had so much gunk in the fluid.

The shifting feels much smoother. It feels sorta healthier too, probably in head. haha
