Visconti vs FA20Club vs Stock Tune Dyno Results

Today I went down to Drift Office LLC in Auburn Washington with a goal in mind, figure out which tune is best for my car.

I have a BRZ Limited AT with an AirRaid air intake. I bought the Visconti Tune from John during the group buy. I also bought fa20Club.com's AT tune. On a side note, I did get to give fa20Club datalogs on street runs, which in turn they came back with a optimized tune for my car.

All the runs were done back to back except for the OEM air intake and and stock tune, which was done around June I believe. These were done in 3rd and 4th gear.

Which Visconti version tune are you running? This is pretty good stuff you posted. The whole board will definitely appreciate this!

This is where it would be great to compare the actual area under the curve in the range of usable/everyday RPMs. A peak number in this case can be inaccurate of the overall result.

Oh well, as long as people are actually seeing the full graph

Looks good

Very happy with the results especially if its only a flash and a single pull!

My flashes are setup not to run full advance until a few drive cycles!

Thanks

Agreed. Looks like they both have their pros and cons. Visconti's has the strongest midrange bump, while the FA20Club has a bit more top end from 6500-7500...This is very good stuff, thanks for sharing.

Fa20 tune runs pretty lean up top that's why it is making more.

Looks like the airid intake is good for losing HP up top. That is significantly worse than stock.

Sure if Visconti updated his tune for the intake we would see very similar results up top between the two stage 1 maps.

Liking Visconti's midrange

Airid runs pig rich on the top end stock that's why it is losing power

Hmm. Looks like 4th gear stock runs are showing numbers on par with the MT's -- tht's good to see.

Thank you Bob. That guy is a champ. Any way you could pull out the two stock runs so we can see just the tunes next to each other?

5hp and 2.7tq with a intake and tune? I knew there was a reason why I saw the video of the intake and tuned FRS running the same times as stock.

I wonder if you have seen videos or Dynos of MT cars instead of AT. MT 93 tune alone has netted 14 HP 10 TQ

The video was of a MT. When I get this car I won't spend a dime on the engine that's for sure.

This Dyno is showing gains on an AT car, the tune works very different for both.

About not spending money on the motor, great for you, more money to spend in other stuff
