2012 HPDE's in Michigan - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Here are some of the good HPDE's to attend for 2012 in Michigan. These events are well run and have good natured and experienced enthusiasts with a broad range of skill and pace. 1st timers and old-farts all welcome as long as you can conduct yourself and be respectful of others and their property. Feel free to add events, but only if you can vouch that the group is competent and well-organized, please.

*April 14-15 @ Gingerman w/3BallsRacing.com

*June 23-24 @ Gingerman w/Great Lakes Lotus Club [event will be posted for registration as the date approaches]

*July 28-29 @ Grattan w/3BallsRacing.com

*September 8-9 @ Grattan w/3BallsRacing.com

*September 22-23 @ Gingerman w/Shelby Cobra Mustang Club

*October 13-14 @ Grattan w/Great Lakes Lotus Club [event will be posted for registration as the date approaches]

Come to Mid-Ohio with BMWCCA, Chin Motorsports, or even NASA. While I race with NASA, I'm not a big fan of their HPDE program.
If I get my car in May, as I hope (I have the first order at my dealer), I will have it out at Mid-Ohio for 5 days over Memorial Day weekend while I'm up there coaching

BMWCCA @ Mid-Ohio does have some great HPDE's. If you can add some dates and links, we can change the title to HPDE's in Great Lakes region.

Hey @Ryephile, thanks for the info. Any early info on 2013 events? The 3 balls racing website doesn't show any events for '13.

It would be great to have a HPDE thread for the region. I am looking forward to some track time.

I'll post info on 2013 HPDE's as they trickle in. Feel free to post info if you see confirmed dates too. It would be great to see some FR-S/BRZ's at some Great Lakes HPDE's next year!

Waterford Hills has posted their 2013 schedule:
Open Track Day 1: April 21
Open Track Day 2: June 23
Open Track Day 3: August 25
Open Track Day 4: October 13

i'm working on a spreadsheet compiling all these events, although not everyone has posted theirs yet. although i'll note it's pretty chicago centric. so far i have only put autobahn, road america, blackhawk, gingerman, grattan events and autocrosses on it.
