What is happening when you lug your engine and the ESC activates? I accidently did this once going up hill (6th gear, 40mph) and it felt pretty strange and I'm pretty sure I lost power for a second before I let go and switched gears. Hopefully it's not too detrimental.

the long wait that's worth it
thanks for the check on who to pm. i figured with you being half a year and halfway down the list i am probably looking at a year at least if the number is still just around a 100 on the list.
also heard / read another rumour of max of 5 being made per month which would put it closer to two years. i will probably need all that time to figure out what the deal is on this open flash tablet stuff and this procede module thing that i am guessing are both separate from shiv? total newb here to this community but should be even more awesome when i get one, till then |

this kit has the worst supply to demand ratio I've seen. (in a good way for the kit, bad for the end user)
Wish it wasn't so, so that i can buy a kit for my beater civic.

It's a good thing I've had Kickstarter to help me learn about waiting a lonnnnng time for something great.

Due to the fact that this kind of RnD small scale über innovative wizardry takes time(very easy to understand)
And that the non interested anymore/lost track/plans changed rate seems to be quite real. How about anouncing the death/locking of this thread? Make a new one with the current updated info and updated list. A date well ahead in time ~ 01.06.2015 ~ first of June. Figure out the best way to confirm still interested, answer to a pm, use thanks function on confirmation post in thread etc. Sure some might be left out by this but for all those paying attention and still very much interested it would be so much better. Finding out if people are still onboard when the kit is actually ready for payment does not seem like the best solution in a ongoing continually updated niche project stretching over several years. Please chime in with what you think. I love all of this but the future here is so bright it seems it could very much do with a way to keep the focus on its own aspects. |

Shipment has been created! Hopefully it gets here by the weekend.
Are there any steps required for tuning the PROcede or is that for mx-5 only? Also looking at the miata forums, the ESC makes for a HUGE upgrade on the NC mx-5s. I believe ours was +45hp (160 to ~205) but on the Miata is close to +70hp o_O.

From what I understand the procede will come with a default setup for the platform you ordered.
Software for customization and desired features of your own choosing soon. |
