I'm pretty sure someone else here is willing to give you extra cash to be one of the first 86er & you can use that for BRZ & buy youself FRS front bumper. Whatever it's your money, it's your car, paint em pink, swap emblem, put spinners lol

Well congrats & enjoy SCION FR-S
^^ You seem a bit arrogant. Thats unfortunate.

You want to know why I won? Toyota/Scion specifically wanted people that (and I quote Jack Hollis): "Have never owned a Toyota product and would never normally consider one."

If I havent made it abundantly clear before I will try to do that now:
I do not care for brands/labels/etc in cars. I care about performance and price. The Toyota 86 is one of the leading price:performance cars in the world right now, and that is precisely why I am buying one.

Yeah, the only badge I don't care for is the FR-S badge on the back. But since there are probably holes or something behind it, I won't be removing it.

All this hostility over a badge. Do what you want with YOUR car and enjoy it.

Personally, I would convert everything. Front, rear, wheel emblems, steering wheel, headlights, and removing FR-S emblem. It would be my car, if you don't like it, don't do it to yours.

Bristecom the Scion badge would have holes behind it, the FR-S most likely is just stuck on with some adhesive.

Arrogant? Me? Of course! Not surprised here.

Yes, you have made it abundantly clear in your first post. You don't care about brand/labels/etc in cars? I call that total BS.

Why? Here's your post:

You stated, you're not a fan of Toyota and you rather have Subaru badge, which equal to you care for brand/label/etc. If you didn't give a damn, you wouldn't care who made what inside the car, but truth, you do care. Just admit it you don't want SCION label showing, simple as that.

Also last sentence wasn't a sarcasm. If it was, I would of put "lol" at the end (like second paragraph). I congrats you for buying SCION FR-S instead of Subaru BRZ.

because once you switch it up, people will know that its still a scion since you don't have the look of the gt86 right.

Yeah, that'd make sense but I'd be scared to take it off. I'd probably endup denting or damaging the paint.

Or they'll know it's a scion because they won't sell the Toyota 86 in this country?

Any average person will be fooled.

Nah, IF you want to do it, just use some "Goo Gone". It removes adhesives without damaging the paint as long as you don't scrape it off lol. That's what I will probably do. Ultimately it's your call

If you care to read a bit more, I also stated its probably not worth the trouble to swap them at all. Just grasping at straws, mate.

Thought about it just because i never thought i would end up owning a scion. LOL seriously i wont take it off since my car will be built for track racing and i dont think a toyota badge will give me handling or hp lol but if i was buying it as a street ride i would probably consider it.
