It was done by the dealership. Synthetic - I don't know the brand. They ended up not charging me and just counted it as my free 7,500 mile change.

I have had 9 oil changes so far. Paid $500, at the time of purchase, for lifetime Synthetic oil changes. (which only added $8.33 per month to my payment)

Now as long as my dealership does not go out of business... I'll be ahead of the game!

Now, THAT brings to mind a back-in-the-military-day story.

It was at Ft Benning Georgia, on a hot, humid July day in 1966.

We were stationed at Ft Benning to attend IOBC (Infantry Officers Basic Course). One Sunday, a group of officers and their wives gathered at our quarters on the post.

I fired up the BBQ, a guy named Frog requisitioned and brought a bunch of steaks from the quartermaster depot. A few other fellows had stopped by the Class 6 store (post liquor store) for beverages.

One of the wives brought a game called "Twister" (reference for the youngsters).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twister_(game)

Soon the heat, humidity and booze hit everyone, so we moved inside and took all the furniture out of the living/family room and put down a large tarp, with the twister game on top of it.

Then, we opened up 2 gallon jugs (acquired from the mess hall) of military grade Wesson oil, and we all oiled up. Then the games began.

I honestly don't know who took off their clothes first ...... but it didn't matter, soon nobody had any clothes on.

All of us had orders for Vietnam as a part of the 199th Light Infantry Brigade being formed at Ft Benning.

So, we were going to .........

THE END

I feel that's a lie. There is a reason you write the way you do, I know it, but you will never let on who you are. WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE.

Or simply the education system of another time. Today's education is all about the meme's

I wouldn't know, I'd never been there before I started looking for my BRZ. They were easy to deal with though, I never had a complaint.

You sly bastard.

The education system changes more rapidly than you think, at least in Canada. The change in education was bolstered by growth of the internet and technological advancements, and the birth of me.
