Let's be honest, 99% of sportscar owners do some sort of spirited driving. Insurance are high on ANY sportscar, period. What do you expected people to drive like in a sportscar?

I may have blew past the stop-sign but my eyes are on the roads. Both ways are empty. It was too late when I saw it. I was doing just 5 over with 65 is the limit. Everyone's flying in these stretch of roads. If you don't keep up you'll get cut and sometime dangerously close.

Regardless of how anyone feels about the driving, I suggest you take the video down. Between running the stop sign and crossing the double yellow twice, this is not something you want out there.

If I did spirited driving, it'd be on backroads. Only cows there to run into. Even so, never 20miles over speed limit in rural (45-55mph) zone.

If...

I don't always drive spiritedly, but when I do, I blow through stop signs. :P

Fang chasing down a WRX on a couple of B roads. You can't see speed data, but there were a few aforementioned moving violations.

True, however I keep my "spirited driving" that is otherwise illegal on public roads, on the track. I do drive spiritedly elsewhere but only to the speed limit if on heavily trafficked roads or perhaps a little more on isolated back roads. Never do I chase after any vehicles, race, or blow through traffic signs.

I took it down. It's not worth the trouble.

Basically, I was out cruising the backroads in one early morning. A WRX showed up behind, started driving aggressively and tailing me. Thought I was going slow (70sh in a 65) so I gas up but he tail me even more. I let him pass and but my ego got hold of me and went after him to see what all the tailing is all about. I'm not sure how fast he was going but I'm doing 70sh and he's pulling away...

Apparently, I made some people very unhappy because I took double yellow lines here and there. I blew pass a stop-sign because I had my eyes scanning the roads to the left. Stop sign is on the right. I saw it but it was too late even if I slam on brake. Road is empty not a single car in sight. Yeah, I broke the rule book. No, it's not intentional.

had an old chevy van blast off at green light beside me last night. I drove normally and later caught up to the van at the red light and didnt blast off this time. Since owning this car, I feel like people either cannot see this car on the road/in their blind spot, or really ike to cut off/block me from changing lanes. never happened while I was in an SUV but happens more than i'd like in my FRS

Visibility of this car does seem like it can be an issue. And of course when the twins were new, other drivers thought they were seeing a unicorn. I got my BRZ in the first 60 days, and I was driven nuts by people pacing me in my blind spot, checking the car out for pretty much the first year-plus.

A lot of people sell convex mirrors to fix that issue and I've heard nothing but good things about it: http://www.fteightysix.com/appearanc...6-mirrors-set/
ft86speedfactory sell them as well, all of them cut that blind spot out as well

Had a guy pull up next to me this morning on my commute to work. He was driving a riced out Lancer Evo. Kept revving his engine to initiate a race. I decided why not since I'm young and dumb, and knew I was gonna get smoked anyway. I just love opportunites to make the 86 sing. Low and behold, the driver must've just been horrible at driving because once I shifted to second (with the signature wheel chirp), I pulled away and the Evo backed off. Who woulda thunk it. Totally think this was a situation where I won because of the driver and not the car
