I believe his comment was "this is exactly what the car needed... now you have a great handling car that gets up and goes. Now that I see how simple that is, I want to put it on my car."

He wonders if he could get up to or over 400 crank HP. Has anyone tried an ESC on the Genesis?
Due to the displacement I don't see it being beneficial at all. The engine already probably moves more air than the Esc can.

I think you would still run into the same issue even with the tQ300 (at least in regards to making any noticeable gains). I however am no expert on it by any means. I would tell your brother to email rob, and ask his opinion on it.

Updated my info in the Google spreadsheet - great idea. Trying to see if I can get on the dyno this Saturday at the Ptuning meet, but I won't have the 1.5 dump in time I don't think. Will have to do a before/after

Just switched up from my 6AT FRS to a BRZ Limited 6MT, I'll update the sheet. Only paid $3k out of pocket with tax for the trade and the BRZ has only 15k miles (FRS was at 30k), Fortune Auto Coils, Short Shifter, Tom's Tails, Lip Kit already done to it. Nice that the dealer didn't up the price for those mods (They didn't even know they were there, lol).

Looking forward to switching the ESC over as soon as Shiv's new tunes hit!

I wouldn't personally, bu I don't think it would look bad necessarily either.

Whether you like it is really the only thing that matters isn't it?

I'm not going to comment on how it will look but any time a modification is made to look like something from the factory, as long as it isn't done poorly, it is nice and never rice.

I was just wondering if there are any dissatisfied owners of the kit out there?

Anybody think they wasted their money? Anybody thinking of EVER selling their kit?

I didn't think so.

Thanks Rob, you're a genius.
