don't think you will get that price but good luck.

I paid just under 30k for mine so price might be a but much unless you very someone that really wants it.

reason for sale?

Just like what everybody said, price is too high. Consider the tax, freight and pdi you paid for a write off when you're selling a car. That's money you can never get back.
No more benefit in buying a car used over new in terms of tax savings.
If I'm a buyer and I see your price versus the price brand new, I will not even click on your ad.

oh wait... I see what you did there.... GOOD JOB!

Good points, guys thanks. the back story is in the regional/canada section.

I priced it as it was, 750 lower than the other private sale cars listed. The others listed were Auto, and feel like there is more demand now for the MT.. at least, the people that really want this car, want the MT.

out the door, the price for us was 31k.. so for someone that really wants this car.. you're getting something essentially brand new (at least, very lightly used) at a savings.

but.. if no response, naturally i'll be lowering it. Perhaps I should indicate that it's negotiable.. or best offer.

I've had three requests to view so far.

God luck with sale. i think you will be able to get close to what you are asking given that ask manuals are sold out for this year and that there are a lot of rich idiots here in BC haha

you were very excited about this car too so is sad to lose a member who really loved their car.

How is that too expensive... its 31k from the dealer.

I wouldn't consider lowering the price unless u went a month with no offers.

If people on craigslist had their way, they'd be paying you $50

^28500 + 12% tax = 31920 for a used one.... did you say 31K at the dealership brand new?

Again, this is when the sale is done the right/legal way....

Its 31k after taxes for a brand new one at the dealer.

Why would someone pay the same for a used one with 3600km? And please, don't go into the whole "gifting" a vehicle to skip tax loophole, that's only going to raise red flags; especially with a new car.

High demand or not, you would have to retarded to pay that much for a used FR-S.

28k taxes included makes more sense, but even that is being optimistic.

Think whatever you want, the car is in high demand and quantities are low, supply and demand my friend.

That being said do whatever you thinks best.

That's kind of what i'm banking on

Someone that wants one NOW, too impatient to wait, and has the money to burn

Course.. the price is a starting point, i'll bring it down depending on what offers are like. I know I have the only manual for sale, so I expect it to sell at a price that will allow me to feel ok about the whole situation.

The dealer actually called me in after seeing the ad.. they want to buy it back. We'll see what they say.

One of my co-workers just sold his White out FR-S (6speed w/ 4000kms) for $25000. He originally bought the car brand new from Openroad, and got a quote for $24000 initially from the dealership. After some haggling, they offered $24500 and said they weren't making any money on it. My co-worker posted his FR-S on facebook for $25000 and it was gone within the day.

He offered me the FR-S for $8k and my s2000 but I politely declined. His reason for selling the FR-S? To purchase a s2000. Maybe he got jealous watching me with the top down everyday coming to work.
