57c6 - Will it work on my suspension?

Hey all,

Ive read alotttt of different threads on this topic but i always seem to see different answers on this. Ive also tried the calculators and stuff but it always gets me confused

My question is will 18x9.5e40 wheels with 255/35/18 tires rub? Im currently on King springs and shocks.

Thankyou for any help

are the "King springs/shocks" the same diameter/size as the oem springs? Or are these adjustable coilovers with skinnier-than-oem-springs diameter?

If those are basically replacement lowering springs, that wheel/tire combo will rub.

Unless you have coilovers, basically any 9.5 wheel will rub on the factory suspension. You can get away with a 9' wheel with some more poke and a slight spacer, but there's no way of getting around the rub of a 9.5' wheel.

i had 18x9.5 +40 offset. I also had lowering springs from eibach(same size/radius as stock springs) YOU WILL NEED a 5mm spacer in the front to clear it while turning. The 5mm is a perfect fit with that size of a wheel. I also ran a 3mm spacers in the rear. I drove it for over 10,000 miles with no issues...

57C6 with Stance Coilovers

18x9.5 Rear with 265/30R18
18X8.5 Front with 245/30R18
Lowered and on Stance Coilovers with zero rub...
Shown here next to my son's stock wheels and suspension.

Does it only rub on full lock? or just when you turn in general
Also wanted to ask, if i did put 5mm spacers at the front would i need to do the same with the back?

the front will start to rub as soon as you turn the wheel.... the spacers on the rears is totally up to you what size you wanna put & how you want it too look... 5mm or 3mm in the REARS is up to you.

So with 5mm there will be NO rubbing at all?
Thanks for the help
