Will do the build pics when I go home. As I said I wanted you to have it first.

Not sure I could convince my wife to go to Vegas to deliver it.

Oh who am I kidding. “We need to go to Ve... Oh you are packed and have the tickets already”

Ain't that the truth! I wanted to build a replica of my BRZ a few years ago and really had to hunt down some Rays 57xtremes, but I found them (on a Japanese website of course)! When I got them, I suspected that I might have paid too much, because they were obviously cast, not forged like the real ones. Must have been reps.

So, I built my model from the Aoshima kit, and did eventually mess up the paint. Got orange peel and didn't want to spend the time to sand it down, so the final result looks like a matte wrap. Still, it was relatively close to what my car looked like at the time. I used to build a lot of planes and armour, but building a realistic looking car model is a true art/skill. My hat's off to those that can build good car models.

What paint did you use for the DMG?

It was tamiya spray paint - it's been so long I don't recall the exact colour; sorry.

Hey.. Where is the finished model?

Did you paint it in blue? I guess you hate the front bumper of BRZs, did you modified it?

Yep and no.
Am on vacation and don’t have ability to post the pics. Will when I go home. If I don’t forget again.
