Typically you should tighten those bolts down with the car on the ground (suspension is loaded), so the bushing doesn't twist. Worth a shot, since it doesn't take a lot of time and it's free.

I was a big dummy when I installed mine and was messing with them and took the preload out. I put it back in but not enough. Put a little more in and the noise stopped

When I installed my Koni's I did by lowering the LCA. The car has to be on the ground to torque the bolts to 59 ft/lbs. OR use another floor jack and jack up just the assy and then torque it down. You would jack it enough to simulate on the gnd condition.
Haven't had any problems.

After going over preload, attempted re torques and pulling all of my hair out, I was able to call Fortune Auto and get some insight.

They told me that due to the car being lowered to the degree that it is, it's likely that all of the suspension bushings need to be re indexed to accommodate the new geometry. I'm bringing the car to All Pro Subaru tomorrow in hopes that they can just fix it!

Did Allpro help you out? I'm actually located in ATL area and was looking to check those guys out for an alignment after my new suspension

I am also looking at purchasing these coilovers. How low did you go? How low can they go? Are you liking them?

Thanks dude

Hey dude, while Allpro is great, that is definitely not the go-to place for suspension work. I highly recommend Gran Turismo East in Chamblee, they are performance suspension and alignment pros.

These coils are by far the best bang for the buck... aside from the noises that were occurring they have been great. They can go pretty low too, right now I'm probably at a 340-345mm ride height with room to go down if needed.

Nice! Thanks for the info on the FA's and also the huge tip on Gran Turismo. I'll take it there soon I installed camber bolts last night to use with the sportlines Im running now until I decide on a coilover set

I'm new to GA in general and have no experience with any performance shops down here so thanks for helping me out I always worry having anyone else work on my baby but a good recommendation always helps ease my anxiety

Have a good weekend dude and thanks again!

There's only THREE places to take this car in the metro Atlanta area that are worth your time.

Topspeed Motorsports
Allpro Subaru
Gran Turismo East

I have Fortune Auto 500's, and they're awesome (had KW V3 on my VW Corrado, so know how good coilovers perform).

So as for topic, mine made same noise. Fix ended up being Swaybar link bolts on LCA needing to lose until torqued on the ground.

I did! Apologies for not updating this, it wasn't the coil at all... one of the control arm bushings was making the noise. Cusco LCA's + alignment fixed it!
