Just installed mine after having invidia catless fp and N1, put stock fp and cbe on, then gruppe-s op and headers. Also getting the rattly/hissing noise near the connection of the header and op. almost louder than the exhaust itself sometimes

Chek for leaks, put soapy water in spray bottle and spray a little while engine running where leaks are suspected

So that is what it would sound like? I tightened it as much as I could im pretty sure. I also used washers that came with it, maybe I'll take those out.

Oem parts only. Maybe it's there, but I've never noticed it.
I've had it 2 years, added 2 different fp/op setups, 2 exhausts, and installed a turbo and no headers sound that I've noticed besides that sexy subie rumble.

I really wonder if it's the hardware they sent like the gaskets. Where'd you get your gaskets from? Also should I use oem nuts and bolts?

I think i'm experiencing the same thing from the same area. This whole time I was thinking it was my front pipe since its my last stock exhaust piece, but I guess i'll go check that area. I checked for a leak and I don't think that's it. that raspiness/rattle only happens at cold start and sometimes when accelerating.

Mine happens a decent amount when accelerating but I can’t always hear it with windows up. I’m almost 100% it isn’t a leak bc I felt around the area while it was being revved and no air. Def near the overpipe and header though.

Update: I fixed it. It was just a leak because I didn't tighten the inside bolts well enough, and eventually one came off making it worse. Tightened with a crow's foot and extension socket bought at pepboys. Will be going to a friend of mines shop to make sure they're as tight as the others . IF ANYONE HAS THE FLUTTERING NOISE MAKE SURE THOSE BOLTS ARE TIGHT!

Installed mine a few weeks ago. Initially I flashed OFT stg 2+ tune which I used for 600km or so. Then I got a custom tune done by Tomm.brz,[Thanks again]. The car feels noticeably quicker from 2000-5000rpm, and pulls strong to redline.

Video of cold start sitting overnight

A few revs with the car warmed up

Sorry if bumping this thread is a problem. I bought a new to me 2013 BRZ back in Dec. It had a way too loud TRD cat back which I have replaced with a stock system. According to the build/parts list from the ad, it has this header and a Berk catted front pipe. The gasket at the header to over pipe is blown out. What size do I need? Is a stock gasket to small? Or does it need to be bigger? I haven't been able to find much info so far.

Thanks
