I know for a fact an aftermarket overpipe isn't going to give any significant or noticeable horse power improvement over the stock overpipe, but is it worth it to upgrade to an aftermarket overpipe (performance wise)? Is it worth it to spend a couple hundred bucks on an overpipe for slightly better flow- is my real question. (I feel like this second question is redundant and voids my aforementioned question lol) Comments, suggestions, and opinions are greatly appreciated!
Are you going with E85 or FI later?

I'm just going to stay N/A and play with E85 once I receive my OFT later on in the Fall. For me, I just want to have that deep boxer rumble, while not having an outrageously loud exhaust set up (my cat back as of right now, is quite loud with everything else being stock in the exhaust department). I know that by replacing the overpipe will give me slightly better flow (probably not even butt noticeable), my worry is whether it'll add too much noise and perhaps "drone" to my future exhaust set up: UEL Headers, stock overpipe, stock front pipe, unresonated cat back.

Chuck the stock cbe back on, problem solved.

I'll attempt this installation myself when the header arrives. What size is the sensor socket?

Also, does anyone use gasket sealant/maker together with oem gaskets? Or is it not necessary if using brand new oem gaskets? I've got a tube of hi-temp ultra copper gasket sealant and wanted to know if I could coat the gaskets with these?

The o2 sensor is a 7/8th. I used this socket in my install:

One more question.....is the OEM manifold-to-engine flange bolt an M8 or M10?

I goofed and forgot the supplied 2 black bolts and nuts. Instead I used some grade 5 nuts and bolts supplied by Phastek. Thanks Chris@Phastek!

Thanks for putting this up. I got a JDL header, and man, this write up just made it smooth sailing. Many, many thanks!

Is the header-to-overpipe gasket the same as the front pipe-to-catback gasket? Should I replace the front pipe-to-catback gasket at the same time?
