Hopefully this will make Honda put some pants on and do the CR-Z the right way! *fingers crossed*
BTW, is that a hole in the hood? Those lines are screwing with me o.O

I saw the concept? at the Melbourne Motorshow. I saw the 2 doors on one side and thought oh I thought it was going to be a 2 door? Then walking back past from the other direction I saw that it only had one door on the other side!
It was a 3 door (Not including the hatch).

I almost got a chance to test drive one of the few JD Power and Associates are using for R&D (The regular one, not the turbo or anything fancy), but they chose 5 other people and i wasn't included.. I made it to the final few applicants but i guess they didnt go with me because i'm only 19 xD

the whole 3 door thing is a bit weird but they the weight savings must of been good for that

awd/rwd would make this a contender

I wish WRC would make Manufacturer's offer similar versions to their WRC cars if they want to compete. For the US the closest we get is an AWD Mini Cooper Countryman. Ford is never going to offer AWD with their Fiesta and Hyundai so far has no plans for AWD in the Veloster.

This is probably what you are talking about, but not probably what you would want to drive...

Next to the ND Miata, this is my highest priority cross-shop for the FT-86. This goes the opposite direction from a performance car, but it seems to be quirky and fun enough to consider. I think that says a lot for Hyundai. FWD and a glass roof aren't going to please any purists, but I think it does a lot of things right. Only the test drive will tell for sure.

This seems to be the video of a test drive of the veloster...

If you look at the video you can see that it goes from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 100 kmh in the video) in 9 sec... I don't think that thing has 208 hp it looks more like 160 ish.

What do you guys think?

That's the N/A version. I believe the Turbo version is targeted for later in 2012 as a 2013 model.
