Talking Silverdub, the T project.

This is where it starts....

For the past 13 years, i have been tuning my cars. Since the beginning, i have been using a white board to keep my ideas somewhat in order and keep track of what needs to be done.... In the last 5 years, my main project has been a 1992 jetta that i bought bone stock from an old man. i turned it into a track car with full cage, 1.8t motor from an audi tt with the transmission and so on.... last thursday, i sold it...time to move on... so here is the board in question, all white for now, i will update this with pictures and info as it goes... i dont expect any replies in this thread since there is no pictures yet of whats going on... lets see if i can spark some interest with just this picture down below!

Cheers,
Max

Cool! Good way to keep your thoughts organized. My "plans" are always scribbled down on little scraps of paper everywhere, which probably explains why I have to many rampant projects going on...

Got my T3 flange and some 1.5" tubing to build my merge collector. This is my first time ever building one of these. At first i thought it was going to be fairly simple but it aint

Prepping and drawing should help!

First cut at 15 degrees

Modified my chop saw to get a 75degrees cut for the 2 next cuts

First of four in place

so after many tries, this aint going very well, my chopsaw blade keeps bending and i cant achieve an acurate cut.. i manage to fit my parts together and it could work but i am not happy with the result, i want this to be perfect so i wont bother with this little part, i ordered a collector, the rest will be easy
