T1R 70R Exhaust (Single) Prototype V.2 !
Hi Everyone,
We finally got our T1R 70R single exhaust version 2 done. We have made the mid pipe straighter and eliminated the crazy bends for better exhaust efficiency. We maintained the 70mm (2.75") pipe which we have dyno'ed with most power gains. As for material, stainless piping are used and gradient finished tip will be added to the production model. So don't be disappointed if you don't see it on the prototypes We also added a longer resonator to improve sound quality and to eliminate drone as much as possible. UPDATED INFO (NOV 2nd 2012) - Exhaust weighs 25 lbs - Exhaust pipe size 70mm (2.75") - Production tip 100mm dual layer with fins - Price T.B.A. Here are some shots of the exhaust : - The traditional T1R muffler is used The T1R Sparrow Exhaust (DUAL) is in the works so I will make another post for it as soon as we got it pieced together ! Please post if you have any comments ! Thanks Ben @ AJR Last edited by AJ PwR; 11-02-2012 at 03:50 PM. |

Here's the dynoplot for the T1R 70R CAT-BACK exhaust vs STOCK. Dyno runs are performed with DYNOCOMP (Hub dynometer) and all numbers are SAE Corrected.
We are very pleased with the result. Noticeable power and torque increase at 3000-4000rpm approx. 2-2.5whp / 2-3tq gained. At 6500rpm (Peak) the 70R gained 6.3whp / 3.5tq. Dyno Video coming up ! Last edited by AJ PwR; 11-02-2012 at 03:34 PM. |

Exhaust looks nice, but I personally can't stand a car with bumper cutouts for two exhaust tips that only has one actual tip.

Do you have any dB readings? I am a fan of function>form and this is how I would want a system on my car to look.

LOVE IT! Even though I liked the first design too I've always enjoyed your "no BS" systems.

Sexual. T1R exhaust is awesome. For my Honda customers it's hard to name something better.
