Thanks for the clarification on the cat, I should have realized your car is set up for the club series you guys have since I've watched the videos. Understood about the exhaust not providing gains, I included it because my car's a daily that's on track 6-8 times per year. Clearly the ACE header with ceramic coating and flex fuel is the shortest, most direct line to max gains.

Stock 200hp crank BRZ making 201hp at the wheels on E85.

I know you are on E70 but E85 should not be much different on a NA engine.

Yours stock was 205hp at the crank.

With interpretation stock 2017 should be 206hp at the wheels on E85.

This means the header added 1.5HP.

I would expect the 2017 to do better than that with a header and on E85?

I need to dyno mine to see what the Delicious E85 tune has done!

Could the stock 2017 header be almost as good as the aftermarket headers?

Are we hittting the engine efficiency wall?
?

You can't compare dynos/days that easily. Go look again, there were impressive gains on 91. Also, I've never seen 200 on just e85... Though I haven't looked very hard, since I can't use it (yay rules)

Did Delicious do your tuning?

Don’t get me wrong, the numbers are great! I know dyno numbers vary even tho they are suppose to be normalized to a standard day at sea level. Delicious did the tune on the 2013 maybe is was not their dyno and it was one that like to give the unicorn numbers? Marketing guys like to use unicorn numbers.

And they did mine also. No complaints about how it runs. Just when they claim to be able to get 201 at the wheels of a stock 2013, I would expect more than 207 at the wheels of a 2017 with a good header.

Probably just different dyno different day.

That's all I was saying - it's probable that was an odd case out however you look at it; looking at the results Mike posted, the gains are significant from baseline in as controlled an environment (and the best case for comparison) as you can typically find. Forget comparing peak numbers across sessions.

Seeing as how one graph says dynojet and the other says dyno dynamics, I would agree.

I wonder how do manufacturers dyno/rate their engines "officially" though. Just at crank at some test-bench, without any transmission at all?
