I love NA tune for 9000 redline and 250whp.
It makes brz the best car for under 60,000 $

This is as far as I could get from tuning E85 with Ecutek
Here are my mods.(from exhaust to the engjne).
1. Perrin catback w/o resonator
2.Invidia catless front pipe
3. 2.5 custom overpipe
4. Tomei EL header
5. Cosworth intake air filter
6. HKS oil cooler
7. Crawford Intake manifold spacer
8. Original runduce pulley kit

I aimed to get about 200whp but it didnt get there probably because of the Ethanol content in E85 in Thailand isnt that hight.

It's could be because the dyno is using sae correction rather than std... on std correction a stock twin will make about 160 on sae it will make about 170.

I'm sitting at about 200 on virtual dyno right now and the car drives like a champ. I can't even imagine what 250 feels like.

Tuned on my own with OFT, have borla uel, and nameless catback. For me right now it's more about the lack of torque dip. I rarely red line, because I love how much torque I make in the middle. If you can make a tune that doesn't involve ethanol you'll trip balls on the extra low end torque.

Here is a rant I posted in shiv thread. Never got a response:

So I just dynoed my car after installing OFH, E85 tune, and a non-stop tuning pulley kit. Below are my results of my two separate dyno runs. All done under similar conditions on the same dyno with the same car. According to everything I read I should be at 200 WHP or more.

This would mean that Openflash header, Openflash E85 tune, and a pulley kit net you only 14 WHP?

Filter, stage one, 93:

174 WHP, 143 WTQ

Filter, stage 2 UEL, Openflash header, E85, pulley kit:

188 WHP, 149 WTQ

Who cares how much power you're making? Are you happy with how the car drives? If yes, perfect. If not, sell your car, buy a big V8 muscle car, and circle jerk with your new found bros over all your horse power and torques.

Don't have baseline. First dyno was with just OFT stage 1 and filter.
Lemme see if I can find proper link.

Closest I have to baseline is a FR-S that dynoed right before me with intake, full catless exhaust, Borla headers, and no tune. He made like 165HP i think.

@DC2R Very interesting results. Especially considering that other members have posted results in the mid/upper 190s with the same mods. Obviously different cars, dyno, day, etc. Reason why I would have liked to see a baseline on the same dyno (I know you don't have one) is that we would have the delta gained, which is far more important. For all we know, you may have gained 30HP from stock. Although not 200WHP like you were hoping for, we don't know if your car dyno stock at 158WHP. What is your next step?

Thanks for the insight. Unfortunately that was the only other NA86 on the dyno that day. Humid and pretty hot both days. You may very well be correct
@Sportsguy83 you know what baseline looks like on dynojet?

Since then I installed a 3 inch nameless axle back for sound. At some point shiv looked at my tune and tweaked but tens of messages since through various venues without any response.

Want to switch to flex fuel and ECUTek with James Martin tune but I'll probably be in Seattle before I can save money for that.

@DC2R yeah, absolutely way too many variable to consider when it comes to this stuff; even down to the e% during those runs. In the end of it all, only you know what you want to do from here forward. From the sounds of it, you want to ditch the OFT and go EcuTek no matter how it goes. Hopefully that works out for you. At the very least you wont take a big hit by selling the OFT and putting money toward FF/EcuTek.

I had a similar experience as you, however the other way around. EcuTek deal fell through, and I elected to go with OFT & E85 (counting on OFT to be FF compatible for NA application in the future). Everyone has their goals when it comes to modding. I personally do HPDE with my car and care more for midrange gains than peak #s, but I completely understand/respect where you are coming from. Good luck either way, and definitely keep us posted no matter which route you choose.
