Had towels down but still managed to scratch the silver plastic filler panels attached to the knee pads/lower covers when installing my BU cam. So I decided to get the 2014 padded OEM knee pads and fix the scratches on the silver filler panels.
http://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.c...omponents-scat Good prices but a bit high on shipping. Used Dupli-Color silver vinyl dye that I had left over from a computer build on the plastic filler panels. Not a perfect match but close enough. http://www.autozone.com/paint-and-bo...ng/509759_0_0/ or here [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-HVP103-Silver-Performance-Fabric/dp/B0007UD9HO"]http://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-HVP103-Silver-Performance-Fabric/dp/B0007UD9HO[/ame] Thanks to forum members for the DIYs. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...73&postcount=1 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...51&postcount=1 And this article: https://howtune.com/articles/95-repl...n-a-scion-fr-s On an auto remove the shift knob, remove the silver shift trim panel, lift it over the shaft and place it on the console facing rear, no need to disconnect the traction control plugs or remove the shift boot from the shift panel. There's enough play in the wires that you can move the console back and slightly to each side to get the old knee pads out and install the new ones. The hardest part is getting a fat finger in behind the passenger side knee pad to push the USB/AUX module out. Last edited by RickyBobby; 04-22-2015 at 08:44 PM. |

I cut a new sticker to celebrate the amount of cock it seems to attract. I dunno how long this will last, I think it's giving me minus 10 hp.

This exactly. I flashed so I can fart around before I install the header. I imagine once the header is in, I will be able to feel a bigger difference, otherwise, its not worth spending $500 just for stage 1.

I've been driving it for a little more now, and I do feel a difference, it pulls harder now in 2nd, actually fairly quick now. But it wont be dramatic, so please curb your expectations if you plan to get a OFT + OFH. My OFH is on the way edit, i loled at your avi too. |
