How much was this swap? Especially the new bumper cover itself and where did you get it?

P/N 57704 I guess? Cover alone is $225? Interesting.

Looks awesome!

Can you fix the links for the photos by the way? Most of them are not displaying.

How did you get to the 2017 parts on subarupartsdepot.com? When I click on or select 2017, it seem to not show any vehicles available.

Edit: never mind. Searching by part number worked.

Edit2: In case anyone is interested, here are the part numbers for the 2017 left and right fog lamps:

FOG LAMP ASSY F RH: 84501CA000
FOG LAMP ASSY F LH: 84501CA010

If anyone wants to use the factory 17 fog lights the part numbers are below. I'm looking for the name of the connector now. If I find it, I will reply.

Update on my 2017 Bumper mod

I decided to keep my running lights as running lights and a little throwback to old Subi bumper fog lights. I just need to make a bracket to hold the fog lights on. The running lights w/ plastic insert will be adhesive together. This should be painted and finished within a week.

Got enough light you think? That'll be unique for sure. Curious to see how it turns out.

Also, you can probably answer a question for me: any way you can imagine removing the center part of the assembly (mustache, etc) with the bumper cover on the car? I'm guessing not, but... till I know not, there's hope!

If the bumper bar wasn't exposed with the center grill missing I would have probably done it

Update. I got the first coat on the bumper. Also painted the intercooler black w/ new support mod ($10) done to delete that damn bumper droop that's caused by the intercoolers weight. She's getting close!

I like the styling of the new bumper but completely dislike the new running light location and look as well as the fog lamps on the 2017. That's why I'm following suit with this just like the guy before me and modifying the fog light brackets to hold the running lights like the old bumper and installing new fog lights in the grill as a throwback to the old Subi. One thing I did hate about the old bumper was the fog lights was they were plastic crap and I was going to do the Forester XT fog lamp conversion just before I decided to hit a turtle destroy my bumper.
