Anyone else wish with all the new performance car concepts that Mitsubishi might return with the GTO? It's sad that they cancelled not only the 3000gt but the EVO as well

I agree the concept looks ugly but I loved the 1999 3000gt VR4. Wish I still had mine...

I still think the 3000GT VR4 is a sick car. It was ahead of its time (TT, AWD, V6, LSD, active aero) with typical Mitsubishi reliability, unfortunately.

But in hindsight typical mitsubishi power capabilities. 400whp out of those mostly stock was not unheard of.

Yeah was working on it all the time but man was it worth it!

3000GT was... I'll be nice & say "shitty" (& that's still nicest way I can say it). All my friend that owned it had problem every single day, just one after another.

Good thing, they killed it.

They're are a lot of factors that play into that though. I will admit mitsubishi isn't the most reliable company, but then again people tend to beat the crap out of cars like that. Mine had issues but even so I really enjoyed the car.
