Maybe they'll add it for 2014, I bet there will be 1 or 2 more colours coming.
I know the feeling man. I'm hoping GBS comes to Canada for '14 - if not I was going to go CBS hehe.

GBS seems to be the colour bridging the gap between white and black.

Hi Sport-Tech,

The car was stock brand new when I took the second photo, just 1 hour after I received it from the dealer.
Tomorrow I must go there, I will ask them what they did.

Regards.

I hope you understand my english LOL

Thanks for replying - and do let us know what the dealer used, I don't think I have seen a better shine in any photo to date! Post a few more if you have 'em, nice and big.

Your English is fine, better than some native speakers' I have seen around here lol. Welcome to the forum, and enjoy your car!

Fogs in Britain and Europe were originally yellow (and may still be) - IIRC it's because they don't cause as much glare in fog for other drivers as white light, due to the lack of blue in the mix - it's the blue wavelength that gets scattered by moisture (hence our blue sky).

If you have very little fog where you drive and are primarily using them for cosmetic purposes, I'd go with the white. I actually find my white fogs useful on some highways - they can help you see the edge-of-lane paint lines right in front of the car better.

I went yesterday to the dealer. All they did was a normal wash with microfiber towels and then they applied mixed liquid silicone with water (1:9 proportion).

Profit!!

I will prove it myself on saturday. Wait for my report

Last edited by hernanBRZ; 02-21-2013 at 09:03 AM. Reason: proportion error LOL

"breast implants"? LOL

Probably I'm lost in translation. The liquid silicone is like grease, the same product that you can buy in a spray can for your car at Walmart, but it's a white grease.
May be it has a specific name in english, let me find it for you.

No, liquid silicone is correct and we have the spray cans of it here. He's being a smartass. Liquid silicone is used in a variety of things besides fake boobies. I'm more used to it being used in thermal paste for heatsinks on computers.

But using it on paint? Interesting.

Wheels look great from the side, but the lack of inset would worry me - here comes the curb rash.
