Shouldn't be any issues. I'm pretty flush right now and the drop should tuck it in a bit more. I tried to capture that with the top down shot but I didn't realize my wheel was slightly turned.

There will be lots of room. You're looking at almost an inch of clearance to the stock strut. Lower/Add some camber and you've still got lots of room.

Has anyone found a Subaru center cap or suitable sticker? I really don't like the TSW cap. The caps I got are blanks with TSW stickers in a bag. I opted not to put them on.

Tire Recommendation - Tail Happy Longevity
I plan on getting a set of TSW Nurburgring 18x8 +35mm wheels. Now the question is what tires....
I don't do track days (despite what my username might imply). I don't need anything performance orientated, and I would prefer longevity over grip. This is my daily driver. Price is no object. I live in SoCal, the weather is always sunny. So what make of tire/compound/size should I be considering? I still want to rear end to slide out as easily as it does on the stock set up. I like being able to use the throttle to "steer" the car. Will having the wider 8in footprint inhibit that? Another sorta related question: I plan on lowering the car with the Eibach Pro Kit. Is there a risk of rubbing issues with the flush +35 offset? Does the Pro kit make the ride significantly harsher? With the tire size, offset, and lowering changes will that throw off my speedo? What adjustment figures will need to be made to compensate? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks guys. -Tony |

If you are looking for a long lasting (for a performance tire) tire with good grip, quiet and very good ride; go with the Continental Extremecontact DW.
If you are looking for a tire for hooning, go with a hard all-season tire designed for long life. In fact, get another set of Primacy tires. All thing being equal, a wider tire will be harder to break free for drifting. But things are never equal.

Here to bump:
Just got some 18" TSW Nurburgrings! I'm not sure which size tire I should get. I'm thinking 225/40s for now, but was also considering 235s. Thoughts?

i want to upgrade my wheels pretty bad, but my local dealer was threating to cancel my friends warranty when he got 235's on his forester instead of 225s. Gah. I'm just dreading having to deal with a plus 1 fitment and larger tires. :/ Glad to see so many frs/brz in san antonio. I've only seen a few down here in the valley.

Are yours +35 all around? How did you get it so flushed? Are you running an spacers?
