IF (big if) they can give you 30 more crank HP and 20-30 more foot pounds of torque and keep the warranty intact then this is exactly what all the auto mags/pundits and people on here have been saying the car has to have in order to be a decent car.

Now it is not enough? If they get the extra power and you still have a full drive train warranty then it is better then buying aftermarket because aftermarket may void the warranty.

Also did anyone really think that more power from the manufacturer or from an authorized upgrader was going to be free? The old mantra of $100 for each 1HP falls right in line with what this would cost but you would be able to keep your full warranty. Even if Toyota or Subaru does it you will pay dearly for it.

Now, if the upgrade is not included in the factory warranty then this is nothing more than the same expensive aftermarket crap that is being bolted on to the twins now but at an even higher price.

Placing bets on 20 more Cosworth threads by next Monday all on same topic that's been already talked about for last month. Any takers that I am wrong?

I'm having a hard time justifying the price for all of this. Why would I go with this compared to selecting the same parts myself? Warranty? You'll be fucked by Toyota/Subaru either way if the mechanic is a ****.

I think the excitement is because their Stage 2 and Stage 3 kits will also retain OEM warranty.

However, their cost effectiveness is another story. haha.

I couldn't care less about OEM warranty. California legal (CARB exempt) parts on the other hand..

Not just us, it's illegal federally to remove a working cat.

While lots of people are doing it anyway, it could suck to get caught.

In CA, it'd suck when your car turns 6 and has to get a smog check.

One of the links is to this thread and two are the same thread. Just saying. Keeping the links in this post just because mischief.

Having an exhaust manufacturer with an existing product build you a special version and providing an off-the-shelf tune is not up to par with their reputation.
This guy is on to something. Spend your money on a port and polish. And the rest from a source other than Cosworth.

I guess their stage 1 is around $5200, a bit overpriced.

I only want the wing since it adds more than 1/2 the horsepower...

Will await to see if there's any real truth and proof. Hard to believe Toyota/Subaru will fully warranty a non OEM manufactured product ...
