Hm, I guess I don't get the whole hoopla about the HID/LED headlights. I just simply do not care. My S2000 had HID head lamps; they were nice but had the car not come with them standard I would not have cared in hindsight.

I guess it's personal preference but I remember 2 things distinctly from my S2000: 1. the headlights being awesome; no other HID headlights have matched them. And 2. the shifter.

I have horrible night vision and HIDs are the only reason why I'm considering the BRZ, I like the FR-S more in almost every aspect.

hmm...black or silver....I notice you can see more of the lines of the car in the lighter colors, like silver and white.

See what I am saying in the white...beautiful...White is growing on me...

I want to see more pictures of the dark grey (asphalt) color...totally cleaned up...

I just think the black looks better than the asphalt.

Yep it is still possible that it could be an option. All these cars show so far are just prototypes. These are not the first 86 ones. These are just demo cars and testers.

I checked with a few Subaru dealers, looks like you can order. You basically put a $500 refundable deposit down and they order what color you want in Premium or Limited in automatic or manual. Seems to be the same thing that Scion is doing also.. I think scion will have more allocation that Subaru though...

Not really possible. It won't happen, and Toyota employees here agree with me on that.

Well not an option but we will be able to order the parts JDM from Toyota or put BRZ HIDs on the FR-S (if that is possible) or put in aftermarket HIDS. The FR-S will eventually get them in a few years.

Lets hope the price is right because if the FR-S is the same price as the BRZ premium...then Subaru is going to have a big waiting list...LOL!

I think it is really short sighted of Scion\Toyota to not even offer HIDs as an option but whatever. It has been beat to death...

That was pretty funny, you made a comment on the fact that it is short sighted to not offer HID headlights after making the cost point. (No HID = lower cost.) But while we are beating dead horses, it's not an "option" because there are no options, as you are already aware, and mentioned. (dead horse)

but jokes aside, I'm sure someone will develop a light kit for the FRS, or even new lights. I mean look at how many angel eyes and other stuff are out for different cars.
