For unresonated test pipe: ADVANTAGES -will give you a little extra performance -louder exhaust note -less weight DISADVANTAGES -your car will be a polluter (air and noise) -produces droning/raspy sound at certain RPMs which can be annoying -once you decide to change your other exhaust components such as headers, mufflers, mid-pipe, etc. the system will be really LOUD. -not really road legal that is why almost all are stamped with 'for off-road use only' but hey, this is the Philippines, you can do anything you want with your car. It won't harm your engine and should only void the warranty on your stock exhaust system in case something wrong happens to it. Just make sure to keep your stock cat. After three years when you have to renew your registration, you might have to put it back to pass the emissions test. I would suggest looking into a resonated test pipe or better yet, a high flow cat instead. @pcuerpo, Congratulations on finally getting your new ride. |

Congrats!
Check that the rubber stoppers/grommets are installed under your car. It was not installed on my brz when I got it. Nasa glove box yung rubber stoppers. My agent didn't even know what it was for so I just installed it myself. I think there was a post about it here somewhere before. |
