Most nav units do have traffic information piped in over TMC (radio): http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_message_channel or satellite radio.

But the maps software itself is often unable to draw incidents on the actual maps, which is a bummer. Google had to do some code-fu to make it work with their maps, and it works more easily because they get their information in a different format from web services rather than TMC.

In the case of the Camry, that's pretty cool that it had that support. Wish OEM manufacturers felt it was worth the time and effort to draw traffic colors on top of the roads.

Any luck with Spotify over USB? Am very interested in Spotify, as that's what I mainly use, and if it would be able to pull album art that is great news. BTW does it do artist and track name from Spotify over BT? That would be one reason for me to upgrade, the base unit does not (for android DROID RAZR at least)

Will the bluetooth work to make phone calls if you don't get the gps unit? I have to buy it piece by piece ..... can't drop that much at one shot.

Are all of your entune apps working? When I open any of them I get an error stating:
"Service provider unavalable. Please check your Internet connection"

I'm using an iPhone 5. I have the entune app installed and when I connect it via usb, a pop-up confirms the internet connection with my phone. However, when I go to any of the apps, I get the service provider unavailable message. Anyone run into this issue?

easy. first off, setup entune account (you will need to use a Toyota VIN number since scions dont ever have entune from the factory. second, install entune app on your phone, login. MAKE SURE "PERSONAL HOTSPOT" is enabled on your iPhone if you want wireless. on the touchscreen, go to settings, bluetooth, paired devices and select your phone. a new screen will pop up. first check "connect for music", then the next one is "connect for bluetooth" I think, then the last one says "connect for internet." to the right of the "connect for internet" button is a smaller square "setting" button, click that. a page will pop up for your settings. check the unchecked boxes (allow automatic address downloads and the other is something about allow udum accounts or something (going of memory). when you check one of those, it will take you to another screen where you will put in your entune login name and PW and check the box at the top of that menu. you DONT need to put in PROVIDER INFO (at least I dont with Verizon). thats it, enjoy weather, traffic, pandora... all wirelessly. IF you dont have wifi sharing with your cell provider, you will have to connect to the USB port. the entune apps gets its info from your phone via WiFi (not bluetooth, even though its still connected for phone functions, etc)

I already had all that set up except enabling "personal hotspot" on my phone. I tried going through it again, however, still no go. When I click an app such as weather, the following text shows up:

Starting weather...
Searching for current location...
Reading current conditions...
Service provider unavailable.

I can't think why the rest does not work. I have not had a problem with any of the apps.

Phone is up to date? Downloaded entune directly on the phone?

If you lived closer I would meet up to take a look at what is going on.

Only thing I wish I could get working is text messages. I could view them when I had my S3 but I can't seem to get it to work with the iPhone 5. Anyone got any ideas?
