Spark plugs for these cars are crazy expensive though FYI. How much did he quote you?

65 for all 4 or 65 per?

Part numbers and comparison costs. There aren't many options in general for this vehicle, let alone what the average mechanic will source.

That was each. The nkgs racing run 33 from napa which he said he could pick up. So im guessing he doubles the cost. Im calling other shops to get quotes. This shop has a good reputation but I feel I need another estimate. Everyone says i have to bring the car in unfortunately.

Yeaaahhh, just get stock ones from Toyota at that point, but I'd say its time to grab the car and take it to a different shop.

Thanks for all your responses. Ended up getting 2 more quotes. The dealership wanted 1k more. Then the other tep were 300 and 500 more than the first quote. Confirmed the two problems at least.

I had similar problems and changing the cam plate resolved my issues.
