This is what I'm most intrigued by currently:

"BRZ car line manager Todd Hill pointed out that 'the suspension tuning will be different than the Toyota version of the car. I can't say how, but it will be a little bit different.'"

Read more: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...#ixzz1fFxzXLlj

I'm happy that they're cutting back on the amenities in favor of a lower MSRP, but I hope they're not cutting back in any performance or reliability aspect.

Love those taillights!

bad it was all looking too good oh well I was hoping to not have to do any cosmetic changes as I really liked the design of the interior... I know I put a deposit on a FR-S but the BRZ might just have gotten itself a new owner instead

everything depends on price now

My two cents worth about half a penny in today's day and age..

I know, right? This isn't a Cadillac, if the passenger doesn't like temperature, roll down the window or wear a jacket.

Same, Scion is ticking me off right now. I hope we see some leaked scion training manuals and figure out these options - or else this year is gonna end on a bad note for a lot of us.

The S requires both a key and a push... I always hated that in mine. The GT86 is keyless.

I'm glad they didn't fuck up the analog speedometer (I really love how 0 is at the bottom and it rolls up), the grey tach is ok...not as good as the white but better than black.

And Ultramarine, what a great color blue!

It's a Subaru engine. I'd trust Subaru with it more than Toyota lol Both will be trained of course but Subaru mechanics will have more knowledge IMO.

Oh I did not know it was keyless. That actually does make it a lot cooler.

I can't believe how many whiners there are on here!

Finally a car company(ies) pulls through and makes a sports car we want from the ground up that's relatively affordable and tons of you post up in a hussy like Grandma said "no more cookies!" when we get some small things different than the JDM and EUDM releases. Good God, life isn't fair is it?

IMO, I don't care which one they bring here. As long as it's got the basics down, the small things can be bought elsewhere, group ordered, or customized. From the looks of it, we'll probably get lowest entry price of anyone else! This is a world car with plentiful parts available. Quit your b*tching and figure out a way to solve your problems.

That being said, complainers are the loudest and I can imagine there's 5:1 of ecstatic people not posting here because they're already figuring out ways to get what they really want out of this awesome car.

:end rant:

I'm pumped. Can't wait to buy one myself. I'm feeling the FR-S over the BRZ, but I'd take either one if the other isn't available.

Tuners unite, we can settle a little less now! :happy0180:

This thread is making me pretty angry. There have been 5 threads this week about price paranoia. Everyone is screaming $22k and now you all complain. The only really disappointing thing is no LED head lights. The headunit is shit but who cares really, a ton of us were planning on swapping it out immediately or using our phones (A LOT of us want to use our phones). The dual climate reduction doesn't bother me and neither does the lack of heated seats (It gets -30C here!). Who gives a shit about the back seat.

The rest of the car is AWESOME though, the rims, tail lights, drivers seats were nice surprises.

As long as I can add the LEDs, HIDs, and fogs (Holy lights package batman!) then I'll be totally satisfied.

If they price this car over $22000 in the US they are fucked. Hyundai is going to steal their thunder. The 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T base has a MUCH nicer interior than this car (Dual climate, push button, tach, guages, uber phone integration), more horse power, more torque, is faster and has a longer warranty. It's probably going to be $24k max.
