Mine is installed and works perfectly. One caveat is that the Rydeen warranty doesn't apply per the note that came with the camera. They only warrant it to authorized installers. Evidently we are not supposed to be able to buy it uninstalled.

It was an easy install for me thanks to SVXdc. The only thing I dont understand is how to remove Rydeens lines. I dont like the HU and Rydeen backup lines.

I got a response from Rydeen about that. Says when ordering from that company, their warranty will still apply, and they are an authorized dealer.

There are exposed green wires that are about a foot away from the camera that are marked "parking lines". Pull those out and solder them together. No more camera parking lines.

[QUOTE=kludger;684360]If you are looking for something besides e-bay I bought mine for $99 from:
http://www.al-eds.com/Rydeen-Mobile-...0B-p22239.html

I bought from al-eds and was very satisfied. No tax, no shipping fee.

SVXdc was very responsive all the way through the process once I ordered his connector.

SVXdc is a pretty busy guy - he's been hard to get a hold of even when I was trying to send him money.

I think Beatsonic sells a harness as well.

I think SVXdc has been offline for a couple of weeks, hasn't been responding to email either, hopefully all is well and he's just on a business trip or vacation or something.

He's been online on other Subaru forums, but hasn't responded to direct PM or email. Again, he's a busy guy - I've been through this with him last year when first exploring the camera options for our car. He'll get around eventually, but if there's an alternative source available, I'd suggest going down that route.
