Their are tune systems that access toyota vw and lots of other cars, afaik all manufacturers have some kind of lock sequence you cannot just read it out without cracking some form of key sequence. Im sure subaru could make it more difficult if they wanted though as could all manufacturers.

Most aftermarket tunes dont comply fully with emmissions in most countries but thats another issue



They also dont tell anyone about how the ecu works or tavle locarions or functions its all reverse engineered from the ecu code.

Yah kess v2 genuone is expensive thousands of dollars depending on number of vehicles covered and you also need to purchase flash credits, kess v2 master even more expensive, bit it covers a lot of vehicles.


An oft is actually a alientech powergate 3 lcked down to a small vehicle list. The powergate 3 can acutally program almost same list as a kess v2 but only one vehicle at a time

Why would he need to be able to access the old tune? Zach makes his own tunes now.

If you want Zach to do your new tunes, you'd also be on newer base maps. And correct, Zach does not have access to any DT maps.

CSG has already developed a full library of base maps from scratch integrating brand new IP. Additional features and failsafes have been integrated that previously could not be integrated into DT's tunes due to the older implementation methodology. The knowledge we have now vastly exceeds what was known in 2015 when the [Ace] base maps were originally developed. CSG's rigorous testing regiment will only continue to evolve moving forward, and tunes will continue to be updated as we discover more.
