The two main contributors are the engine mounts and the front diff mounts. There are a few different choices for engine mounts providing varying degrees of stiffness. The STI mounts are reputed to live in the sweet spot.

As for the diff mounts? Ugh. I dropped the hammer on a Cusco product but still feel like I could've done just as well by making shims from an old tire.

I have all my mounts except for the rear diff mounts swapped and it makes a huge difference. Really tightens up the feel of the car.

I have a set of rear diff cradle mounts but I don't feel like pulling the rear of the car apart again this year. Might leave the stock ones and build something like this instead.

RIDING MOWER!

I'm not seeing that much grass there - besides, now that you're retired, you have all day, every day, to mow the lawn. In addition, you will need the exercise. You just can't sit on the back patio and sip ice tea all day long, every day.

(see, I just saved you a few hundred dollars - )

My coworker was telling me how a neighbor somehow convinced his parents to have him mow that neighbors 3 acre property with a push mower for $2/hr.

If you can work out the same scam, it'll allow you to sip iced tea on the back porch and give some entertainment to watch with all your new free time!

Hey, that was good money, back-in-the-day. I remember having to do that, back on the farm, for room & board -

Yep, raise the handle, get a run on it, lower the handle and push as hard as you could - cut 2' of grass - repeat.

No, it was not uphill.

Yeah. I'm easing my way up to some form of that brace. This is what happens when you convert a front-biased AWD platform into a RWD one either without really thinking it through, or more likely, choosing to overlook the issue. The problem is that with such a short arm for the moment couple, the mounts have to be super stiff. We wouldn't need any of this crap if the diff had been packaged for a dedicated RWD platform.

That's only half the lawn.

John Deere makes one where the oil filter is the sump. To change oil you just unscrew the filter, and screw a new one on. They come pre-filled. Pretty slick.

Update: Got the oil/filter changed, charged the battery, and after many failed attempts, got the bike to start and run. Not too bad for having sat for a year lol. Took a few pics and posted it on craigslist. We'll see if it gets any attention at its current price and if not, I'll repost it for a bit cheaper.
