Did I say an LS swap would destroy the handling? Not saying you are saying I did. I just can't remember, and don't think I did. I don't even think I said the 2jz would destroy handling, but I do recall saying I felt the extra weight and the height of that weight when I installed my Harrop kit, so I was saying I could imagine the 2jz swap being really noticeable. The LS is the most compact, large-displacement motor there is to swap, even smaller than many V6's, as I showed in gtpvette's thread, so the LS is really the ideal swap.

If it really is 53 front 47 rear from the factory I'd say that is impressive.

I am expecting the handling to be effected but not as much as you'd think. I will get some drivers behind the wheel who are more sensitive to handling dynamics than I am to try and get a true unbiased opinion on whether I "ruined my car".
No way you ruined the car. The general balance is close enough and the power/torque more than offsets the lightness or balance, but that too can improve with more mods.

This pic was in the link I attached on page 5.

There are plenty of threads on corner weights to compare. This is without some tools and no driver:

Since Tcoat started the fun facts, then fun fact: if you gain 40 more pounds then you will be left and right side balanced.

Never said you did, I reply to threads in general. Generally speaking there’s a notion that swapping the car destroys the handling and makes it nose heavy. I was replying to that.
