Pretty well, only 3 cars coming down the hill as we were going up, maybe 2/3 cyclists. On the way down a motorcycle let us pass, and less than a handful of cars going up the hill. At the top we actually met up with another few twins and a little group that eventually made their way down the hill after we stopped and ate lunch. Road conditions were as per usual, bumpy and very minor gravel/tree leaves on the slope.

I drove Mines this morning and the road conditions were great. A few corners had some larger gravel/stones in them, but overall the majority of the corners were completely free of gravel! Very nice.

Get out there and drive it if you've been thinking about it!

Yeah the conditions are about as good as you could hope for on Mines and San Antonio.
Some pics and video from yesterday’s drive are up on the 86DRIVE IG.

Took the day off from work to get some things done..

One of the said things to get done happened to be one of these:

[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiB1NA4CSpc[/ame]

Unfortunately I got stuck behind a Forester going from Alice's to Pescadero so no video of that. No matter what I did they wouldn't let me pass, and on one of the straights with no double-yellow solid lines I was clear to try passing from the opposite lane, but then they sped up.

Aw man can’t believe I missed you! Saw a hot lava and another twin coming back up 84 as I drove to Pescadero.

I went at about 1:45 or 2ish I think.

Ah, next time. I was up there from 10ish-1. Grabbed breakfast at Alice's and did a couple loops around Pescadero & La Honda.

Ah gotcha. I was thinking of going in the morning but enjoyed doing that loop in the afternoon the last time I went on a weekday, so thought it’d be nice today too. Wasn’t too bad though.
