Dealership told me that Hill start assist was enabled by default from DPI (whatever that is). Found out he was lying less than 5 mins off the lot on a steep hill. Luckily there was nothing behind me but I did kill it because I brought the clutch in a bit too quick and stalled it out. Just so I don't get people saying "Learn to drive without Hill assist" I have it enabled so that my wife is a bit more confident at an uphill stop. She is learning! Will try to teach her to use the Parking/E-brake if all else fails. |
