I'm planning to run it with an ACE CS400 header and Delicious tune.
We've ran one of these configurations before too.

Ok, just had my belt come apart at Sebring first session this morning. Thankfully the O' Reilys in town has one in stock. Anyone want to share quick and easy secrets for installing the new belt.

Put a wrench on the tensioner pulley, and tighten the bolt. This will let you release the tension from the belt.

So start the belt going around the supercharger pulley and then get it around the crank.

After that move the tensioner pulley to the left with the wrench and work the belt on the rest of the other idler pulleys.

There ya go easy.

So question, with the C30 kit, I'm upgrading my fuel injectors to the 450cc Deatschwerks, but don't really know what to upgrade the fuel pump to :/ They have a 255 liters per hour and a 265. I have no idea what the stock fuel injectors and pump are so I don't know which ones to get so I don't get TOO much power. I believe the 450cc is a good upgrade with this supercharger kit because the next option is the 700cc and that's overkill for my setup xD so can someone help me choose a fuel pump please?

From my personal limited experience I've seen most JRSC setups run the 700cc Injectors. I don't know what the stock injectors and pump flow.
I personally run the DW700cc injectors and their 265lpm fuel pump as recommended by CSGGarage.

How is the 700cc? I know for a fact the stock injectors are in the 200-280cc range which is why I think 700 is too much! I'm looking for a 300-350 HP build with this super charger and I might go with the high boost pulley that JR provides which requires fuel modifications. Have you dynoed your car recently?

I still haven't gone to a dyno. I'm currently etuning with delicious as I upgraded some things.
I would say for the 700cc if you intend to go for those power levels, particularly if you choose the HBP in which then you must run E85. I rather have extra free play to run higher flow then not have enough.

Thanks a lot for the info, helped a bunch
And I don't think I'll ever go E85, cause there are absolutely no gas stations around me for that. I'd have to drive more than 30 minutes just to get gas 😂
I don't know if the HBP still works with 700cc injectors and the 265 pump with 93 octane. If it does then yay for me and if not then I'll just ignore the pulley and pretend I can't increase my HP without a built engine... again, thanks ✌🏼

If you're gonna stay on gasoline, no need to upgrade injectors.

Good morning guys

I've been researching FI for a while now and believe I'm leaning towards this SC kit. My vehicle is pretty much stock save for a 93 octane OTS tune on the OFT. I figured this kit is a more reliable FI option and I'm not looking for anything crazy as I'm not going to track the car.

I wasn't planning on upgrading the exhaust anytime soon either. My question is, would the C30 or C38 kit be better for my application? Also, is there an OFT OTS tune available for this SC or should I sell it and go with the factory ecutek option?

Thanks!

You want the Deatschwerks 700cc fuel injectors and the Deatscheerks dw300c fuel pump. Thats what i just bought for my c30. Im installing everything next Sunday n getting a dyno tune the week after. Dont forget to tune it after install or youll do some serious damage to your engine.

I recommend reading the whole thread before taking any recommendations for your own benefit.

These are what I learned from this thread:

- Fuel injectors and pump upgrade are not needed for the standard kit on an otherwise stock car.
- The most reliable bet with the default kit on a stock car is CARB factory tune.
- If you are not going to use CARB factory tune from JR, I see good feedback and support for Delicious.
- You don't need the OFT OTS stuff after installing the kit.
- Without any other mods, c30 has better lower rpm power (or throttle response), c38 has better higher rpm power.
- If you are going to go higher power (HBP upgrade, etc), c38 is better.

With these, I chose c30 kit since I am not looking for any more power just like you.

Read the thread, seriously!

So I have been admiring this kit for a long time and once I have enough saved I plan on taking the plunge. However I recently saw a video where this kit was installed and he had it tuned by a company and he was able to make about 250. He said that was lower then normal because of some cars dont allow for more timing. What does this mean and is there any way to know right now if my car won't allow for more timing? Not that 250 isn't alot but after seeing 260-270 and church automotive telling me they generally can make 270-280 I was hoping to get close to those numbers.
Thanks for any help possible.
