Is this a common BRZ manual transmission problem?

hey guys recently i started to having a problem with my 2015 manual brz, i couldn’t find similar story as mine so i’m posting a new one.
first when car is parked in neutral and not pressing the clutch pedal it makes this very weird definite whining noise and when the clutch is pressed it gets even louder. I was thinking the TOB cuz all the posting on here but it has this one last special issue. the clutch pedal shakes like crazy when slightly pressed or even when letting off the clutch to change gears. Pedal it self is very sticky, like there’s a resistance points when pressing in the clutch and worst of all the clutch pedal wouldn’t even come out sometimes.. i’m scared to drive in the street and i’ll be taking in my car in the dealership because it’s under the warranty. but anyone can help me find the ball park of my problem before i go in, im scared that dealership is gonna say it’s not covered by the warranty

Ballpark the problem? The problem is something in the clutch. Take it in and see what they say. Or pull the trans and check it out, really the only two options.

while the the clutch pedal shaking sounds pretty dramatic, if you didn't do anything dumb and it is under 5 years/60 K miles then there isn't anything to worry about. let the dealer figure it out

i suspect a bent shifter fork and/or misaligned clutch plate.

do you know if you have a shifter fork problem, would symptom go away and come back multiple times? like one day your driving just fine but one day it's just really noticeable rough?

that would be the guess at the misaligned clutch plate.

just remember, i could never find waldo, and they had an entire book where the title indicated waldo was in the book.

just because i think i know something doesn't mean i know anything.

Clutch pedal not returning could be your slave cylinder as well

Check my build for pictures of a failed TOB and subsequent damage to the snorkel. It is probably the TOB. If it fails then oil from inside the bearing could be on the disc making it skip more at partial presses. The TOB could be angled on the snorkel. Either way you gotta get it checked out. If you drive and it fails completely then you will need a tow at likely an inopportune time.

Yep, liked said, I reckon it's some sort of a clutch problem(s). It sounds like the TOB is shot and the pressure plate is weak or the clutch disk is coming unglued.

Dealer time.

TOB is toast and is taking the clutch with it.
Been there.
