This question has been answered at least half a dozen times over the past three months including a formal response from Subaru. The pulleys are just pulleys, not harmonic dampeners.

Are you going to offer the red anodized S2 kit again?

Yes, it is out of stock at the moment. We are doing another pulley production run.

By Chance are you going to make individual pulleys available?

Hey Kuri

Yes I can... Give me a little time to get them put up. I'm in the process of revamping this site navigation.

Any DIY videos available for a complete pulley swap? Took a look around, nothing conclusive.

Jarrett, would you recommend this as a DIY? I see a few people taking the install to shops in the thread.

Thanks!

The crank pully is the only one that sounds like you need to seriously pay attention to. The other pulleys are pretty straight forward minus the alternator pulley, which sounds like a pain in the ass to get the bolt off.

The directions that came with my cascams and the rear shock tops were pretty good. Jarrett has personally answered all my questions when I've called him several times. If you were going to do puleys, there is no other company than raceseng I'd recommend. The customer support was outstanding.

This can be done as a DIY. The hardest part is getting the crank pulley bolt to loosen. It requires a breaker bar and some effort. The other pulleys are simply bolt off and bolt new pulley on.

Email me jarrett (@) raceseng.com and I can email you the instructions to see if it's something you want to tackle.

Thanks!

Yeah the instructions are basically what you would find in the DIYs posted. I just did the install last week. The crank pulley is a PITA to get loose, and just make sure when you pull it off you put your finger in to keep the sleeve from pulling out with the pulley.

The water pump pulley if you have the belt on you can get them loose very easily, just keep the car in 6th gear with the ebrake on.

Alternator pulley I used an electric impact wrench to get off so I can't help you there but if you have a strap wrench you can probably hold it in place to get it off or again if the belt is on it might have enough tension to keep it in place since it's not that tight.

I need some help.
Had a hard time taking off crank pulley, so started searching on the forums for other alternative. Read it would be best to take off the serpentine belt first. Eventually got it off, but now I'm having a hard time loosening the alternator pulley. I put the belt back on, but the the alternator screw moves as I try to loosenit.
Any advice?
Thanks.
