The FBM turbo kit comes with 3 bungs in the downpipe. I used the extra one for my AEM Wideband/Boost Failsafe gauge.

Install was finished Sunday morning, but after 3 reflashing attempts failing half way through, 2 EcuTek cables, and a now bricked ECU, I have not been able to run the car. I shipped off my ECU this morning to have it bench flashed. I probably won't even have it back till early next week. I have come to REALLY hate EcuTek at this point.

Sorry to hear about that man. The ECUs I work with (non automotive) are pretty tough to brick. Even if the control software is totally messed up the ECU has a boot/operating/loader software that's separate and continues to work and allow loading. I don't know how these car engine ECUs are configured but I figured it was a similar story. I hope they get it fixed and back to you quickly. Is your displeasure with EcuTek just that their loading software, hardware, and procedure failed you or was their customer service less than stellar?

I haven't had to deal with EcuTek directly. Luckily I bought my cable and license from Visconti, so he has been helping me through this ordeal. What pisses me off is the EcuTek software failing during a reflash and not giving me a useful error message as to the reason. When you are doing something as important as a reflash, then the program just failing in the middle and not telling me why is idiotic. Not having the ability to attempt to start the flash again or to restart where the flash left off is idiotic. Instead all it does is tell me that I have a partially programmed ECU. I also hate the fact that they take my license prior to the reflash so if it fails I now have no license and an ECU that doesn't work with no way to fix it. I had to contact John to get a new license each time I wanted to attempt another reflash. I wish I had just said fuck EcuTek in the beginning and spent the money to order Hydra and tuned the car myself. I might go with BRZEdit now that it is out as well, just to get away from EcuTek.

No pictures. I still don't have the bumper mounted though so I can take pictures of pretty much anything. What would you like to see pictures of?

I would love to come help you man. Shoot me a PM with the details. I love working on cars. I don't know the PCB area that well. I use the 2WD Dynojet at XXX Motorsports in Pensacola. Here is a list of the Florida Dynojet dynos (not 100% accurate):

The install took about 2 times longer than I expected. I wouldn't say anything is overly difficult, but you will want to take your time and make sure you get everything the way you want it. I know everyday, I look at it and tweak something that wasn't exactly how I wanted it. The only real speedbumps were with the fuel pump and injectors install. Everything else was pretty straightforward. Getting the bumper to fit takes some tweaking as well that I am still working on. I will get some pics and do a complete write up once the car is running. I worked primarily by myself, but I did get help from 4 buddies during the course of the install.
