It is hit or miss with Pandora app. I know I have different radio. my cover art is usually a song it two behind. Sometimes it just guesses and puts generic "alternative"or whatever p image. Try toggling Bluetooth for automobiles option in app.

This is really the route to go. The speakers in the door suck. I replaced those, dynmatted the doors, and added an 8" sub, and I can't even hear the sub because the door speakers are so much better now.

I've had two different phones in this car and the bluetooth from both sucked. Though my best friend's phone sounds good through it. Aside from that, I like the stock system in this car. I think it sounds pretty good. Also, I'm not sure why people say the car has no bass, there's some songs that give a nice thump. Doesn't need a sub in my opinion.

The stock system sounds good enough for me... try using Scion Sound Processing (SSP) and setting it to "Feel"

This, I find it much better than the hearing and neutral settings.

I quite liked the neutral but I had a sub, and also replaced the stock amp, and ran 120hz hpf on the doors, so everything on natural was clear and nice

I'm having the best results with the car in the xB setting at Natural.

I listen to zero EDM though.

Try EQ #2 in the sound settings on the stock BRZ unit. Somebody had a post in the Audio forum-section how that seemed to be the best EQ setting. Worked for me.

I got a great amount of bass back from the doors after using sound deadener. I say "back" because the low end output from the door speakers is wasted in the door due to the numerous holes and large flat sheet metal.

Buy a dynamat trunk kit online for cheap, get some 1/8" dynaliner to completely cover behind the door card and then to top it off stuff some kind of foam stuff back there around the speaker (I saved the plastic foam from packages I've received in the mail).

I've had people ask me numerous times if my system is stock or I hid a sub-woofer somewhere. Seriously, this is all it takes, until you want to go hog wild and put some 12's in.

My tip is not to go crazy on the dynamat though. It is heavy stuff at about a pound per square foot, and you really ONLY need it on flat sheet metal panels, everything else is solved by the dynaliner IMO.

Provide some details on what speakers you upgraded to?

You wouldn't happen to have any pictures from your install, would you?
