I'm interested in the kit primarily for the top end gains on track, but I'm still hoping its blast to drive at reasonable speeds.

Edit: Bonus question. Before you bought it, did you consider a turbo setup instead? If so, what made you go with the JRSC instead?

Pretty hefty difference under 5k.

Not bad for a stock header and for what I assume is the CARB tune. Also looking for subjective opinions—especially from those who have experience with an EBSC or turbo setup. Is it just as much fun?

JRSC + ACE looks promising as well: http://blog.aceheader.com/2015/11/ac...ercharger.html

Technically the C30 is only for 13 & 14 models, C38 is 13 to 16 models.

Realistically, I don't think anybody cares unless you're a total prick to the officers and whoever is enforcing the law.

People care when they purchase or register originally out-of-state cars in CA, as well as anytime you need to smog. Not every car qualifies for abatement.

So does the EO sticker get sent to who ever buys a kit in California with a tune? Seems like a My17 car wouldn’t get a carb sticker unless dealers just send them out to any buyer willie nillie. Because a smog tech will need the sticker.

That I don't know.

You can try to contact jackson racing directly and ask about their intentions to add '17 models coverage and whether the EO sticker will be provided with each purchase.

CARB has been taking a extremely long time to issue the new EO for 17+ models. Factory Tuned Systems for the 17+ models will be available as soon as we receive the new EO.

CARB EO Decal ships with the purchase of a Factory Tuned System.

This is incorrect. Our CARB EO covers both C30's and C38's on all 13-16 Models.

https://arb.parts/Executive-Order/D-700-2

It specifically states 13 and 14 models?

The C38 executive order specifically states 13 to 16.

Has anyone with a built motor ran this kit? Interested to see a dyno of the C38 blower with built heads.

D-700-5 Supersedes D-700-2. It states in the paperwork that 13-16 C30 OR C38 are covered under the EO.

The sticker is cosmetic. Take EO paperwork with you. That is your actual certification.
