Its made for the same car the other diverter valves were made for, but im not sure how atmospheric vs recirculated will affect it.

This is the unit that I switched to. Hope this can help someone. I've always had good luck with Forge products.

You're not going to significantly lower charge temperatures, but you will have a larger volume to fill, and have a larger pressure loss, ultimately resulting in a loss of power.

CSG experimented with many aftermarket intercoolers, and was unable to find one that increased output over the provided FMIC without incurring a substantial cost (and consequently, not being even close to worth it).

I am not sure if it would work. But I don't see any advantage of converting recirculation valve to a blow off valve either. It might change the sound a bit.

If you want to fine tune the recirculation valve, you could try this

Before anything read carefully JR's recent response on this topic.

Yea main reason would be sound. Just was wondering if the atmospheric bov would work because i have to upgrade mine either way so if i could use the atmospheric that woukd be sweet. But i wouldnt mine just upgrading to the rkx like you and a few other people have.

Too much spring pressure will not allow the engine vacuum to properly pull the valve back. This causes compressor surge and will damage the Rotrex unit.
Hey JR, do you have any thoughts on this product in conjunction with a different recirculation valve on the JRSC: https://www.forgemotorsport.com/Inta...uct--1060.html

I'm not planning to change my setup for awhile but it seems like a good solution if you were upgrading to run really high boost. Seems to eliminate the trail and error of picking the correct spring - valve combination. Do you think it would work with the JRSC system?

I wouldn't just do bov for sound. It will probably be smelly too Either use a valve compatible with the original design, or leave it alone before damaging your compressor, imho.

Nvm i found a rkx splitter valve which will work as both a bov and a recirculating valve its pretty cool actually.

I used this as a replacement recirc valve and it is fantastic, much smoother than my failing stock recirc valve.

Its a direct fit, and made of metal.

Yea i got that one except its a splitter version where there is a screw on piece that either makes the valve a full recirculation or full bov.

"soon".

You may want to pre-order a kit from @CounterSpace Garage.
