Hmm... Recently found out that there is one horology (watch making) school left in Canada. In Quebec. En Francais.
I just sent them a request for more information/price/admission etc... in horrible, out of practice French. May be approaching a career change moment..? So long as I can get my French and bank account up to speed in say a year.

I just bought 3 straps over the past couple months. Want one more but it's an old weird 15mm size that your buddies don't have. For this one:

I live in a 3rd floor apartment, and my car isn't even covered. I know. I definitely know. well, better than when I was at my parent's place. had to park my car on the street. edit: by covered, I mean overhead protection from branches, acorns, things like that |

Don't get me started.
I have officially given up on car workshop space, which would be my priority. Custom titanium exhausts... Oh well, at least I have 'secure'-ish underground parking in my apartment.

my 2 priorities are a garage and a back yard, so I can take care of the car and the dog. i'd happily live in a loft above a garage, so long as I could work on my car

Looking for a house with the GF who loves the city, Im not against it but my requirements are a place for me to work on my car and a workshop area. Doesn't have to be attached but I need both. Currently have a 2 car garage (1 with junk) and its so awesome. Car is still prestine like day 1 minus autox damage and the time I dropped a tool on the hood, and the time I backed into a pillar
ok its not prestine

I bet it's still better than mine. front lip is all tore up underneath, and back right corner apparently got hit by a taxi. someone left a note, but finding the taxi would be too much of a pain in the ass
