passenger seat

When you slide it forward does it not click and stay in place like the driver side?

Nope. It just slides back and forth. Totally normal.

Absolutely, yes, it should lock into position.

Edit: Wait! Define "slide forward". Do you mean when you want to sit closer to the dash, or letting someone out of the back?

like if im vacuuming the back seats and i want to push the seat forward it slides back on me and i have to hold it

use the slider bar under the seat to slide forward.
after that you fold the seat with the lever on the side.

Yup. You were trying to fold the seat first by pulling on the side lever. That's "let someone out" mode, so its gonna slide back into the drivers position when they get out.
